Sign up for free! How to access dlc characters? I had purchased the digital combo pack of Lego Marvel Superheroes 1,2 and Avengers plus all season passes a few months ago for my PS4. I completed LMS1 and Avengers to get to free play mode but none of the dlc characters were available on any of the games. I searched the web for answers and never found anything except "download and install and it should be there automatically. From your PS4 home screen, highlight your game.
Press down on the left analog stick. Go down until you see a box at the bottom that says PlayStation Store. Highlight and on the right a box should appear saying Your Add-ons. Move right to select this box and press X. This will bring up Add-ons menu. Any dlc you have downloaded should be here. To the left of each add-on there is a small box with a down arrow. Highlight each one and press X. This should start the download process. Once download is completed, you should get a notification at the top of your screen.
Now go back and start the game. I didn't have to reset the system, but you may have to. Now all the dlc characters should be there. The game features a similar game-play to its predecessors and other Lego video games, alternating between various action-adventure sequences.
